Prime Video is one of the leading global streaming services, offering customers an extensive selection of movies, TV shows, and Amazon Originals in more than 240 countries and territories.

We are currently seeking a Business Affairs Executive that will provide support across all of the scripted and unscripted deals in the Nordics and the wider EUX region.

Key job responsibilities
- Support complex deal structures for talent agreements, development deals, (co-)production deals and rights acquisitions
- Collaborate with Legal, Production, Finance, and Creative teams to ensure deal terms align with creative vision and business objectives
- Provide timely and practical advice to senior-level executives under time-sensitive conditions.
- Engage with external partners using clear judgment and risk analysis to support successful deal outcomes
- Support the implementation deal plans that support Amazon Studios' content strategy
- Monitor industry trends and maintain relationships with agencies, law firms, and other industry stakeholders

A day in the life
You will assist with the commercial discussions relating to deal terms with and for production companies, producers, IP incl. original scripts, book rights, format rights, ATL incl. writers, directors, on-screen talent, and other related deals.

You will interact with managers, agents, managing directors and outside attorneys and will efficiently communicate status and tradeoffs with other members of the Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video team including Creative, Production, Marketing, Finance, Tax, Accounting, Legal and Distribution, as well as executives outside of Amazon.

You will apply a comprehensive working knowledge of international film and TV industry business models, development and production methodologies. The candidate will also demonstrate the ability to think abstractly, adapt quickly in ambiguous or unstructured environments, and effectively navigate new or unfamiliar situations and problems.

You will support a varied, high-volume workload efficiently and smoothly, operate within corporate parameters, and remain cool and levelheaded in high-pressure situations. The candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues in this department and across Amazon, build strong internal client relationships, effectively advise senior-level executives under time-sensitive conditions, and generate client satisfaction through clear thinking and risk analysis.
