Job Title: Lead - Finance & Accounting

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with US GAAP principles.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in accounting and finance operations
• Minimum 2 years of experience in handling a team.
• Experience handling US customers/US-based teams with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in General Ledger, Journal Entries, Reconciliations, Financial Statements, Accounts Receivable, and FLUX Analysis
• Working knowledge of TDS, GST, vendor invoice processing, and statutory compliance
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite preferred; knowledge of Oracle/ERP systems is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment aligned partly with US time zones

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure financial transactions comply with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Prepare financial reports, variance analysis, budgets, and forecasts
• Maintain accurate financial records, general ledger accounts, and reconciliations
• Review vendor invoices and ensure proper accounting of TDS/GST in Oracle
• Assist in audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
• Develop and monitor financial controls, policies, and accounting processes
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work accurately with large datasets and meet deadlines
