Job Description
The Role at a Glance
You will assist our department leads (Audio, Lighting, Video, and Rigging) in the successful load-in, setup, operation, and strike of professional event productions. Whether it’s a local corporate theater build or a multi-day touring festival, you are the engine that keeps the show moving.
Travel & Perks
While many of our shows are local, Epicenter Productions frequently hits the road.

Key Responsibilities

Load-In/Load-Out: Efficiently unloading/loading trucks and pushing road cases.

Assembly: Building stages, assembling LED walls, and hanging lighting fixtures or soft goods.

Cable Management: Running power and data looms (and mastering the "over-under" technique).

Show Support: Assisting with backline changes, spotlight operation, or deck cues during live performances.

Site Maintenance: Keeping the workspace clean, organized, and safe for the crew and talent.
Requirements & Qualifications

Standard Tool Kit: Must arrive on-site with basic tools (C-wrench, multi-tool/knife, headlamp, and work gloves).

Physical Ability: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and remain on your feet for long shifts (10-12 hours).

Transportation: You must have reliable personal transportation to get to local venues or to the airport/depot for travel dates.

Professionalism: Punctuality is non-negotiable. We operate on "show time"—if you're on time, you're late.

Attire: Ability to provide and wear "Show Blacks" (unbranded black shirt, pants, and closed-toe shoes) or safety-toe boots as required.
